What is a carbon facial?

A Carbon Facial is a non-invasive laser skin rejuvenation treatment that combines a medical-grade carbon lotion with laser energy.

The carbon acts like a magnet, drawing out excess oil, dead skin cells and impurities from deep within your pores.

Once the carbon has settled into the skin, the laser passes over the treatment area, gently vaporising the carbon along with the impurities attached to it.

The result is skin that feels:

At the same time, the laser gently stimulates collagen production, helping to improve overall skin quality over time.

How does it work?

Your treatment begins with a thorough cleanse before a thin layer of liquid carbon is applied to your skin.

The carbon is left to dry for a short period, allowing it to penetrate into the pores and bind to excess oil, bacteria and dead skin cells.

The Q-Switched laser is then passed over the skin. The laser energy is absorbed by the carbon particles, which are gently vaporised, lifting away impurities while providing controlled heat within the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

What results can I expect?

Many clients notice an immediate improvement after just one treatment.

Your skin may appear:

However, whilst one treatment can provide an instant glow, longer-lasting improvements to skin texture, pore appearance and overall skin quality are usually achieved through a course of treatments.

Is it painful?

Not at all.

Is there any downtime?

These effects normally settle within a few hours, allowing most clients to return to work or social activities immediately.
